IMPORTANT ZOGG FIRE RESOURCES
Our hearts are heavy for those of you who have experienced losses during the Zogg Fire. It is the goal of our school to support our students and their families not only educationally, but in all possible ways. To that end, I wanted to provide you with some critical resources that may help you through this difficult time. Please let me know if you’re looking for something you don’t see here, and I will do my best to locate that for you as well:
All evacuees can find many resources including food and mental health services at:

In addition, if you lost your home, the following resources are available to you:
Request $450 emergency cash from Red Cross at:

Sign up for free assistance with ash sifting at:

To sign up for FEMA benefits go to:
www.disasterassistance.gov
Shasta County has not been linked yet, but should be soon, so keep checking back. Even people who were renting qualify for some assistance. If you owned your home, it is very important to sign up so you will be on the list when it is time for lot cleanup. It does not appear that FEMA will be coming her in person, so this is the best way for you to access this help
Take care and know that our staff is here to support you in any capacity,
Kim
